It's always a joy to have these little reminders that you're not getting any longer. I went into Giant the other day to get some groceries, and made an extra special trip to the bread aisle to buy a package of english muffins. ("You want an english muffin? They literally hand you an english muffin, with butter and jam." Yeah. Geico ads refuse to leave my brain.) As I'm picking up the package, I think to myself, "Wow, I bought these at $0.99 on sale, and now they're $2." HINT HINT HINT brain, usually when stuff is that cheap I stock up and buy 37.

I get home and open the freezer door, only to find I already had 3 packages of said english muffins - seeing as I bought them last week when they were on sale! Duhhhhhh! :stupid: You'd think somewhere in the far reaches of my head, I'd put 2 and 2 together and remember that I had already bought this crap last week. Nope.

So I've now got almost a month's worth of english muffins sitting in my freezer, where real estate is already sparse due to living with 4 other people, 3 of them boys who enjoy frozen pizza and waffles.

Maybe I should start taking Ginkgo Biloba or something.
